Dr. Leena Pandya, ND - Secretary
Dr. Leena Pandya is a licensed naturopathic doctor practicing in San Francisco, CA and an NIH-funded T32 postdoctoral scholar at UCSF's Osher Center for Integrative Health. She is currently studying the application of wearable devices in health behavior change and is primarily involved in a clinical trial examining the effects of whole-body hyperthermia (sauna therapy) on depression.
Prior to earning her doctorate in naturopathic medicine (ND) from Bastyr University, she studied neurobiology and behavior at Cornell University, after which she spent two years working in education with teens suffering from traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Pandya completed her residency at an integrative neurology clinic and currently owns her own practice where she focuses on disease prevention and health optimization. In her free time, Dr. Pandya volunteers at a nonprofit organization and enjoys photography, playing tennis, relearning the piano, and reading fiction novels.
