SB 1333

The CNDA has proudly introduced legislation to remove physician oversight requirements for prescribing and allow in-office minor procedures. This modernization of the Naturopathic Doctors Act would align California with ND training standards and match the scope of practice permitted in surrounding states.

SB1333 is authored by Senator Brian Jones, who has been a strong ally and support for us in the past, helping us successfully pass SB994 which allows NDs the ability to provide medical orders to LVNs.
